Hilma was born in Los Angeles on August 25, 1927, daughter of Ben and Ida Green.
Hilma is survived by her son, Roger Shapiro (Shannon) and her daughter, Cindy Greenberg (Larry). Hilma is also survived by her grand children, Lucien Shapiro and Alexis Shapiro (Jason) and her great grandchild, Maverick, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Hilma's life was dedicated to her family and friends. She was always thoughtful, usually honest about her feelings and continually loving to family and friends. She had a huge heart and will be greatly missed by all her knew her.
