

Lois Hope Wedner of Los Angeles, California, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 (5 Kislev 5776), at 93. Services will be held Friday, November 20, 2015, at 2 pm, in the Groman Eden Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Sam Spector, and will conclude graveside, in Eden Memorial Park. Flowers are being accepted; and donations in Lois' memory to the charity of your choice are welcome and appreciated.
Lois is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Jacob A. Wedner, and her cherished son, Gregory (Maryanne) Wedner, May Their Memories Be For A Blessing. Lois is survived by her daughter, Laurie (David) Dominguez; her daughter-in-law, Maryanne (Gregory, Of Blessed Memory) Wedner; her grandchildren, Michael (Karina) Dominguez, Casey Dominguez, Jimmy Wedner, and Kadie Wedner; her great-grandchild, Everett Dominguez; her niece, Tracey (Steve) Poirier; and her nephew, Drew (Pauline) Pomerance; and her other loving family members.
Lois loved music. She sang in the choir and played piano. An elementary school teacher, she loved word games, such as crosswords and Boggle, and was a Jeopardy whiz. She loved to talk politics, and enjoyed playing bridge and golfing. For Lois, no one was a stranger.
