Mitchell Ira Weitzman

Mitchell Ira Weitzman of Simi Valley, California, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 (12 Adar 5775), at 61. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015, at 3 pm. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Richard Spiegel, and will conclude crypt side in Eden Memorial Park. Mitchell, a beloved brother and uncle, is preceded in passing by his mother, Laura Weitzman (Of Blessed Memory), and his father, Marvin Weitzman (Of Blessed Memory); and is survived by his siblings, Shari (Jon) Schweit, Addison (Josefina) Weitzman, Howard (Ria Snow- Weitzman) Weitzman; his nieces, Heather Schweit, Pamela (Darren) Atkison, Kimberly Snow, Kristine Snow, Lisa (fiancée Andy Ortega) Harris, Hannah Weitzman, Lauryn Weitzman, Hailey Atkison, Katrina Harris, and Parker Atkison; and his nephews, Joseph (Andrea) Weitzman, Dustin Weitzman, Brian Weitzman, Casey (Carrissa) Harris, and Daylen Atkison.

On March 3, 2015, the world lost a one-of -kind person in Mitchell Weitzman. His bright smile, generous nature, and sense of humor, will be greatly missed. There were few people like Mitchell, and those fortunate enough to have been blessed by his presence can agree on that. We will miss him every day, but he will always be in our hearts.
