Ruth Braunstein, 85, of La Mirada, California, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 (12 Shevat 5776). She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Leonard Braunstein (Of Blessed Memory); and is survived by her sister, Edith; her sister- in-law, Barbara; her daughter, Phyllis (Terry); her sons, Les (Marsha) and Joel. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Lisa (Erik), Shawna (William), Danielle (Stephane), Aaron, Andrew (Kaylie); and 3 great-grandchildren: Laila, Sadie, and Lance.
Funeral services will be held at Home of Peace Memorial Park, 4334 Whittier Blvd., Los Angeles, California; on Monday, January 25, 2016, at 1pm. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Mark Goldfarb. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.LLS.org) and/or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org), in Ruth’s memory.
Ruth will be very missed by all her family.
