I first met  Sheila when I was five years old as she and my mother were in a carpool with her son Lee. I then ran into her two decades later when she was the first person who greeted me at the front desk of Crystal Cruises and I was picking up my first contract. As I looked at those long pink nails with matching lip gloss I knew NO ONE got past the front desk and behind the scenes without her approval. As soon as I gave my name she screamed and asked me if my mother was Pat Berman and I said yes. She cried, "Honey I've known you since you were five and you carpooled with my son Lee and me." From that point it was a love affair HER and with Crystal Cruises from the get go of seeing her after all these years. Our friendship has deepened over the years and I am so sad not to be able and pick up the phone and call "My Second Mom" ! Sheila, I love you, miss you! and know you are smiling down on us! I will hug my Mom tighter tomorrow and salute you. To Lee and Ilene, I am so sorry and thinking of you both! Heaven just got heavenlier with your Mom up there! She's definitely not letting anyone in she doesn't like and running the show. God Bless and remember to ENJOY TODAY!

Sheila made dreams come true for so many people.  I will miss her very much.

Shelia was an amazing joy to be around.  Always a dear friend and full of the spirit of life,  She understood what it truly meant to be a traveler in this world.  She was the very definition of fun and her attitude and humor touched everyone.  I will miss her terribly and know that she is truly dancing with the stars.

I have been at Crystal Cruises for 22 years, and for many of them, Sheila, as our receptionist, was the initial contact for all who called.  No one could have better personified Six-Star Service than she.  We all are lessened by her departure from our lives.  My sincerest condolences to her family. We were blessed to know Sheila through two companies Princess and Crystal. Together we have laughed, cried, schemed, broken our long nails, had one two many late evenings onboard ship and settled all the problems of the world. Sheila was one of a kind...a Lady and a sparking fire fly, elegant but embracingly approachable. She made everyone feel welcome and she LOVED everyone.She was a massive personality with a heart of gold. I have known Sheila since 2006 when i applied to be an Ambassador Host on Crystal.  Sheila was more than the person in charge of the Hosts.  She was a friend.  I will and do miss her greatly.  My deepest condolences to her family, Kal and everyone else who was fortunate to know her.

Sheila and I worked together at Crystal Cruises from 2000 to 2004.  We shared the same birthdate, October 17.  Talk about a connection!!!  We used to laugh about the fact that arguing with each other was like arguing with ourselves.  The click of her nails on the keyboard in her cubicle outside my office was a constant reminder that she cared....she really cared for all the talent she ultimately sent off to the ships.  Sheila, you were one of a kind.  Thank you for being YOU and may you rest in eternal peace.
