Shirley Paul of Agoura Hills, California, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 (25 Tammuz 5777), at 94. Services will be held Friday, July 21, 2017, at 11 am, in the Groman Eden Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Flowers are being accepted.
Shirley is preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 48 years, Aaron Paul, Of Blessed Memory; and her dear son, Jerry Paul, Of Blessed Memory. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Jordan) Paul-Klempner; her brother, Edward M. (Chava) Kazel; her grandchildren, Aaryn and Adam Klempner; and her extended family.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Max and Rose (née Tepper) Kazel, she always put her family first. She was a pillar of strength during family tragedies, and kept the family moving forward. In addition to being a great cook, Shirley loved to iron, and had an incredible green thumb. She loved flowers, and enjoyed gardening
and eating the herbs and fruits grown on the family home's property.
