Stephen was born on June 24, 1940, and was a resident of Carson City, Nevada.
Stephen was a man who wore many hats. He was a Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves, a representative and counselor for Midshipmen applying to the U.S. Naval Academy, and a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. Along with his wife, Monica, a longtime member of the Civil Air Patrol in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was part of San Fernando Senior Squadron 35 as a Search Pilot, a Cadet Orientation Pilot, and a Squadron Operations Officer. He worked with California Wing Headquarters as an Inspector General, and for anyone who needed guidance, a mentor, and a Training Officer. He was always looking for ways to help out, and he spent his life in service to others. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Services for Stephen will be held on Friday, February 27 at 2:00 pm at Groman Eden Mortuary and Eden Memorial Park.
