She was born in Bladen County, NC on May 16, 1943, daughter of the late Robert and Essie Honeycutt. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny J. Pressley; her sister, Virginia Brewer and her brother, Tommy Honeycutt.
She is survived by her brothers, Bobby Honeycutt (Brenda) and Gary Honeycutt (Susie); her sisters, Helen Wilkerson, Jeanette Mills, Yvonne Macemore (Ken), Debbie Hobbs (Gene), Diane Hobbs (David) and Susan Starnes and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Corinth Baptist Church. A service to celebrate her life will begin at 12:00pm in the church sanctuary with interment following in the church cemetery. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Pressley.
