Beuna F. Thomas Yost, age 95, of Waxhaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 20, 2017 to meet her husband Bill at the gates. She was born in Anson County on March 31, 1922, daughter of the late Lessie Taylor and Claude Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Yost; one sister and six brothers.
Beuna is survived by her five children, Kenneth, Peggy, Pat, Soyniah and Joe; her five grandchildren; her five great-great grandsons; her sister, Joyce and one brother, Billy. The family will receive friends Monday, April 24, 2017 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe with a Funeral Service beginning at 2:00pm in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel.
