He was born in Union County on February 4, 1936, son of the late Clarence Sr. and Ethel Walsh. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Hunter Walsh; his sister, Christine Foster and by his brothers, Charles Walsh and Clarence Walsh Jr.
Billy is survived by his niece Fannie Brown; his great-niece, Kimberly Roof (Patrick); his great-nephew, Lee Brown (Beth), two great-great-nieces and three great-great-great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm Saturday, August 27, 2022 at New Covenant Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Walsh will begin at 12:00pm in the church sanctuary. A private interment will be held following the service. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Mr. Billy Walsh.
