Bonnie Walters Rape

Bonnie Walters Rape of Monroe passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe where she had a long and successful career as a Real Estate Broker. Bonnie was a faithful member of Ebenezer True Light Church of Christ.

Bonnie is predeceased by her husband Milton Rape and her parents, Harvey Walters and Jessie McCray Walters. She is survived by her precious daughters, Christina Helms and her husband Ricky of Waxhaw, Jacqueline (Jackie) Wardwell and her husband Chip of Monroe, Laura Dugick of Monroe and Kerri Carlino and her husband Ryan of Charlotte; grandchildren, Emerald Richar, Myles Helms, Chelsea Hedrick, Madison Palermo and Jacob Wardwell; great-grandchildren, Raegan Richar, Kinsley Richar, Blythe Richar, Jackson Hedrick, Katie Hedrick and Palmer Palermo and her siblings, Lanelle Jones and Harold Walters.

Bonnie was loved by all that knew her. She was kind-spirited with a lovely smile, pure heart and gentle nature and will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. The funeral services will be private.
