Carl B. Robinson, 97, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Mr. Robinson was born February 18, 1919 in Union County, son of the late Charlie Baxter and Sally Stewart Robinson, he was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Carl was retired from Lance Packing Company in Charlotte.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. Services to celebrate his life will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the McEwen Colonial Chapel with Reverend Don Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mrs. Vertie L. Robinson, one son; Carl Dillon Robinson (Myra), one daughter; Sarah Robinson both of Charlotte, one grandchild; Erica Roberts (Chris) of Charlotte.
