She was born in Union County, NC on July 29, 1944, daughter of the late William R. and Bonnie Terry.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bobby Ray Johnson. She is survived by her three sons: Eric (Carol) Johnson, Robert (Renee) Johnson, and Rusty (Esther) Johnson; nine grandchildren: Ashley (Corey) Howard, Amber (Henry) Randall, Sam Starnes, Alice (Wyatt) Melton, Cassidy (Daniel) Helms, Jessalyn, Avery, and Delaney Johnson, Fiona Collins, nine great grandchildren; and a brother Jake (Brenda) Terry.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:00 am at Lakeland Memorial Park, located at 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, North Carolina with Pastor Paul Saleeby officiating.
