Dolphan Crawford Adams

Mr. Adams was born June 18, 1937 in Chesterfield County, SC, the son of the late Mr. Elmore Adams and the late Mrs. Annie Frances McCoy Adams. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife: Doris Jean Hill on April 26, 2006; one great grandchild: Imogen Riley Hood; one brother: Charles Robert Adams.

Mr. Adams is survived by one daughter: Debra Jaafar; one son: Danny Adams; two grandchildren: Amanda Cameron and husband Matt and Stephanie Hood and husband Jeffrey; one great grandchild: Abigail Grace Cameron; three brothers: Jim Adams, Tommy Adams, and Alvin Adams; three sisters: Carolyn Rushing, Betty Jordan, and Ruth Blackwell.

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Thursday May 29, 2014 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe with Funeral Services to celebrate his life beginning at 1:00 PM in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Wayne Williams, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
