On Sunday, February 28, 2016, Donald “Paw Don” ascended, traveled, and flew to his eternal home. Waiting to follow are his wife Annette “Mimi” Ford, his daughters, Wendy Helms and Missy Workman, his son in laws, Steve Workman and Johnny Helms, along with his grandchildren, Brittany, Lillie, Garrett, Isaiah and Rachel as well as his great-grandchildren, Grayson, Carson, and Brenson. Waiting for him at the gate were his other two great-grandchildren Lakelyn and Emerson.
Paw Dons visitation and service will be at Unionville Baptist Church in Unionville on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, visitation beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with services to celebrate his life following at 7:00 P.M. in the church sanctuary with Reverend Hank Parker, Reverend Rick Eason and Reverend Neal Workman officiating. Paw Don loved to witness and spread God’s love and word. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. “Romans 3:25.” As his last wish, Paw would like to extend an invitation to anyone who isn’t saved and would like to know the Lord to read Romans 10:9 and join him in Heaven. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
