Forrest was a former Virginia Wild Land Firefighter. He was an Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed listening to country music. Forrest was a man of strong faith and loved his family with all of his heart.
Forrest is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Mildred Sprouse and siblings, Raymond “Buddy” Sprouse and Sharon A. Burke. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth Sprouse; children, Forrest (Sarah) Sprouse Jr. and Sue Ellen Sprouse; brothers, Albert M. Sprouse and Bernard H. Sprouse; 9 grandchildren with another on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon. His Celebration of Life Service will follow at noon in McEwen's Colonial Chapel with burial in Suncrest Cemetery in Monroe.
