He was born in Union County on November 23, 1964, the son of Franklin and Robbie Benton and was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Sylvester Benton.
Frankie is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Benton; his son, Houston Benton; his mother, Robbie Jean Benton; his sister, Wanda Benton; his nephew, Garrett Lutz; and by his step-children, Josh Cloninger, Erica Carpenter (Chris) and Jake Young.
Frankie was an Auto Body Painter for his entire career. He was a very passionate and caring man who adored his family. He loved hunting and fishing with his son and friends and loved going to the beach and grilling out. We are each blessed to have had Frankie in our lives. We will truly miss you and that perfect smile of yours.
A graveside service to celebrate Frankie's life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Waxhaw City Cemetery, Arbor Drive, Waxhaw, NC 28173. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Mr. Benton.
