Harold Junior Baucom, age 80, of Monroe, passed away on February 9, 2018 at Autumn Care. He was born in Union County on May 14, 1937, son of the late Marshall and Verona Baucom. Harold was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Baucom. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ollie Gill Baucom; his daughters, Sheila Greene (Johnny), and Sharon Baucom; his five grandchildren, Greg Lee, Michael Ivey, Justin Lee, Nick Greene and Cassie Owens; his sister, Louise Shirley and his brother, Ronnie Baucom (Karen). The family will receive friends Monday, February 12, 2018 from 1:30pm until 2:45pm at Shiloh Advent Christian Church. A celebration to celebrate Mr. Baucom's life will begin at 3:00pm with interment to follow in the church cemetery. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is serving the Baucom family.
