Mrs. Jessica Williams Smith, 72, died Tuesday at Carolina Medical Center-Charlotte. She was born February 13, 1937 in Union County, daughter of the late Jesse Hoyle and Ann Holmes Williams. Mrs. Smith was a retired School Teacher with the Union County School System. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Euto Baptist Church; interment will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband: John W. Smith of the home, one daughter: Sharon A. Smith of Fuquay-Varina N.C., one son: Craig W. Smith of Mt. Airy N.C., two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Euto Baptist Church Land Fund, 6019 Hwy 205, Marshville, N.C. 28103 or to the Baptist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 338, Thomasville N.C. 27361. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Euto Baptist Church Family Life Center.
