Rev. Joe Marze, age 78, of Pageland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 23, 2016. He was born in Union County on March 11, 1938, son of the late John and Lue Eva Marze. Joe loved to play the guitar and sing. He was preceded in death by his son, David Marze; his daughter, Terry Griffin; two sisters, Ethel Rasmussen and Judy Baker and his brother, Walter Marze.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Bertie Marze; his two sons, Randy Marze (Connie) and Doug Marze (Cindy); eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a special niece, Renea Spencer.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe with the funeral service beginning at 1:00pm in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel.
