Mr. Ingram Passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at his residence in Monroe, NC. He was born on January 11, 1942 in Wesley Chapel, NC. He was the son of Julius Neil Ingram and Martha Price Byrum. His mother remarried to Vance Byrum, who was John’s step-father.
John worked as a reserve police officer for Monroe, NC and retired from Hughs Supply after working 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Ingram who he married on December 6, 1959; his daughter, Julie Ingram Haulk (husband Bobby) ; his son, Kenneth Ingram, Jr. (wife Michelle); his grandchildren, Morgan Malone (husband Barney), Destiny Carruth (husband Brett), Logan and Tayler Ingram all of Monroe, and Kelli Pond (husband Danny) of Hamlet; great-grandchildren, Meghan and Kayla Pond of Hamlet and Alaina Carruth of Monroe; his brother, Neil Ingram (wife Nora Ann) of Waxhaw and his sister, Patricia Davis(husband Gale) of Alabama.
A visitation for Mr. Ingram will be held from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. November 4, 2014 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. November 5, 2014 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
