Joyce C. Hinson

She was born in Monroe, North Carolina on August 21, 1929. Joyce graduated from Benton Heights High School, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Pressley "Toolie" Hinson.

Joyce worked in banking for Bank of America for 35 years. She was passionate about her family and a proud lifelong member of Benton Heights Presbyterian Church. She was survived by sons Dan (Carol) Hinson of Monroe, North Carolina and Steve (Gail) Hinson of Newport News, Virginia. Grandchildren Brad (Lauren) Hinson, Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, Justin (Tiffany) Hinson, Newport News, Virginia, Valerie (Eric) Nelson, Irvine, California, Leslie (Chris) Feyling, Hayward California and 7 great grandchildren.

Due to the recent restrictions surrounding COVID - 19, a graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 11, 2020 at Suncrest Cemetery, Monroe, North Carolina and all are welcome following social distancing guidelines. Memorials may be made to Benton Heights Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Union County.
