

Mr. Kenneth Edward Norcross, 85, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. A resident of Lake Park, NC. He was born October 7, 1929 and was the son of the late Robert and Helen Fitzgerald Norcross. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lee Anne; his children, Richard and wife, Linda of Indian Land, SC, Nancy Braleyy and Charles Covert of St. Albans, WV; granddaughter, Ashley and great-grandchildren, Carter and Jaley; his brother, Steve Norcross and wife Sandy of Portland, Oregon and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Matthews United Methodist Church and the Elizabeth Patrick Sunday School Class. Mr. Norcross attended West Virginia University where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He proudly served during the Korean War in the US Army. Mr. Norcross was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #230 in Roanoke, VA. For many years he and his wife were members of the Queen City Corvair Club of Charlotte. Mr. Norcross spent many years as a salesman. He was an avid history buff. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was generous to a fault and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to Home Instead for their many years of service. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Norcross will be held Saturday, May 2nd at Matthews United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation following the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in Charleston, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Matthews United Methodist Church, Daily Bread Ministry or the WVU Alumni Association.
