Kenneth McCoy Norris Jr

Mr. Kenneth M. Norris Jr., 82, Died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Rehabilitation Nursing Center of Monroe. Mr. Norris was born July 17, 1929 in Mecklenburg County N.C., son of the late Kenneth M. Norris and Lena Rivers Ammons Norris Sr. Ken was retired from Southern Bell with 38 years of service. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Services to celebrate the life of Ken will begin at 3:00 P.M. in the McEwen Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gayle Foard officiating, interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Sue Norris of Monroe, one daughter: Pam Lomax and husband Chuck of Monroe, two sons: Ken Norris III and wife Patty of Lake Park, Tim Norris and wife Sandy of Monroe, seven grandchildren: Kerri Andrew and husband Adam, Meredith Norris, Addie Lomax, Tristan Lomax, Coy Norris and wife Jessica, Dustin Norris, Tanner Norris, two great grandchildren: Makaila Norris and Isabella Andrew.
