Louise P. Lowery

Mrs. Louise P. Lowery, 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Savannah Ga. Mrs. Lowery was born in Monroe N.C. the daughter of the late Robert W. and Ophelia Mills Price; she was also preceded in death by her husband Walter E. Lowery, sons Mitchell and Don Wilson. Mrs. Lowery lived in Monroe until the last several months, a member of West Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe. Survivors include her daughter Betty K. Burns (Phil) of Savannah Ga., three grandchildren; Scott Burns (Meredith) Savannah Ga., Randall Wilson (Paige), Daniel Wilson both of Monroe N.C., two step grandchildren; Cheryl Jones (Keith) of Lewisburg West Va., Meade Evans (Lisette) of Florence S.C., three great grandchildren; Andrew Burns of Savannah Ga., Maddie Wilson and Mitchell Wilson both of Monroe N.C., three step great grandchildren; Hannah and Heather Jones of Lewisburg West Va., Chad Evans of Blytheville Arkansas, Visitation will be 1:30 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lowery will began at 3:00 in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, with Reverend Gary Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
