Maggie C Rummage

Maggie Cook Rummage, age 89, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Haven in Pineville, NC. She was born February 21, 1928 to the late Isaac M. Cook and Margaret Haywood Cook. Maggie was a life member of Bonds Grove United Methodist Church. She retired from Southern Bell after 42 years and was a member of Telecom Pioneers. Maggie was the last surviving member of her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy, her five sisters and her two brothers. She is survived by one sister-in-law; one brother-in-law; eleven nieces and nephews and her god children. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Sharon Memorial Park on Monroe Road. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Weddington United Methodist Church, 13901 Providence Road, Weddington, NC 28104. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is serving the family of Mrs. Rummage.
