He was born on April 2, 1977, to Wesley Jack and Beth Rish.
Luke graduated from James Madison University in June 2001 and worked as a retirement account administrator for various companies. He had many interests and enjoyments in his life including sharing memes with people he loved. His primary love, however, was spending time with his family, particularly his wife, Shelley and their two daughters, Giulia and Giana. He would say every day that he loved his "three girls." He always looked forward to watching Giana dance and Giulia play soccer. He also enjoyed taking them to annual events such as Fall Festivals, Christmas events, and 7-11 Slurpee days and spent time baking with them as well. He was always active and interested in anything his girls wanted to do.
Luke is preceded in death by his father, Wesley Jack Rish. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelley Gresham-Rish; daughters, Giulia and Giana Rish; mother, Beth Rish; sister, Karen Gamache (David); brother, Wesley Rish (Cindy); brother-in-law, Bruce Gresham; sister-in-law, Katherine Eaker; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved and cherished.
A funeral service to celebrate Luke’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 am at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street, Monroe, North Carolina.
