Mike was born in Mecklenburg County to his parents Charles and Annabelle Totherow. Wise words often heard from Mike were, “To become a better man, is to be a better man than you were yesterday”. Words that live on in those left in wait. He was a man of few words and always to the point. Although a private man and kept to himself, he had a big heart and was friendly to most. He could make a friend anywhere he went. He loved animals and helping others, especially the elderly. His passions and hobbies consisted of fishing, spending time with family, remodeling homes and gardening. That man had a magical way with his plants. He especially loved his husky and beloved family member, Indika. He was his baby.
He was proceeded by his father and mother, Charles and Annabelle Totherow. He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Suzy Keeter and his stepchildren Van, Stephen, and Dylan Keeter-Wiseman. His son, Michael A. Totherow and family, His daughters, Erica Kirby and family, Christina Cano and family, and Nancy Nations.
A limb has fallen from the family tree that say “Grieve not for me, remember the best times, the laughter, the songs, the good life I lived while I was strong”.
