Mr. Rick Helms, 61, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte. Rick was born September 10, 1954 in Union County, son of the late Herman Franklin and Dorothy Godfrey Helms. He was a building contractor.
Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Rick will be Friday, March 4, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the McEwen Colonial Chapel with Reverend Chris Justice officiating. The family will receive friends following the Memorial Service.
Survivors include his son: Travis Brian Helms of Monroe, one sister: Tammi Helms Brewer (Greg) of Monroe, two brothers: Robert Helms (Jean) of Shelby N.C., Jerry Helms (Jennifer) of Tripp Island S.C.
