Ronnie “Shine” Griffin, 66, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-Union. Mr. Griffin was born August 7, 1947 in Union County, son of the Late Crawford and Ocie Rowell Griffin. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 4:00 Until 6:00 P.M. at Union Grove United Methodist Church, Services to celebrate his life will begin at 6:00 P.M. in the Church Sanctuary, with Reverend Bob Sturge officiating. Survivors include his wife: Harriette Griffin of the home, one daughter: Lyn Polk (Brian) of Wingate, one son: Dean Griffin (Sylvie) of Indian Trail, five grandchildren, one brother: Earl Griffin (Shirley) of Monroe, three sisters: Aileen McClain of New Salem, Frankie Smith, Fae Godwin both of Indian Trail.
