

Born September 6, 1937 in Kerala, India, she was the 2nd of 5 siblings. She lived a prayerful life and was very much a caring, loving, and generous person. Saramma was a homemaker whose passion was taking care of her children which she considered to be her greatest achievement. She and her husband, Thomas, migrated to the United States and continued to lead the family. She also helped raise each of her grandchildren. In her time here in the United States, she continued to work various jobs as well as being a pillar of her family.
Saramma is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Thomas M. Cherian; son, Charles Thomas (Mini); daughter, Susan Joseph, daughter, Sujan Cherian (George); grandchildren, Jessen Joseph, Jensen Abraham, Zack Thomas, Amy Thomas, John Cherian; and one great grandchild, Aria Abraham.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bethel Christian Fellowship, located at 7604 New Town Road, Waxhaw, North Carolina. Future services and burial will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, located in Tucker, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations and memorials be made to Bethel Christian Fellowship (www.bcfcog.org).
