William was born May 4, 1936 in Union County N.C., son of the late John Clayton and Mary Evelyn Elms Mullis. He was a retired machinist.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, September 30, from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Open Book Baptist Church, 2850 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe N.C. 28110.
Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Bud will be Thursday, October 1, at 11:00 A.M. at Open Baptist Church with Reverend Mitchell Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife: Patricia “Pat” Mullis of the home, three daughters: Lorrie Ann Brooks (Coy) of Monroe, Melisa Dawn Ross of Monroe, Tammy Denise Gill of Marshville, three sons: Andrew Clayton Mullis of Monroe, Danny Ray Mullis of Monroe, Timothy Dale "Sam" Mullis (Sheryl) of Raleigh, one foster son: Jimmy Lee Kiser of Tradesville S.C.
