She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Friendship Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama. Ms. Turner was best known for her kind heart and loving smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop F. Turner, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory: sons, Mark Turner (Patricia) of Charlotte, NC; Creighton Turner (Marilyn) of Montgomery, AL; and daughter: Monique (Stanley) Webber, of Washington, DC. Grandchildren: Brian Turner, Madison Turner, Franklin Webber and Alexandra Webber and a host of relatives and friends.
Our dear mother, Alice Louise Turner, went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2017. At the blessed age of 87 she lived a life of faith, love, and perseverance. These attributes allowed her to transcend many obstacles and exhibit a grace and thankful spirit that blessed everyone she met. In her later years, we prayed that God would give her peace; which He gave in abundance. Through the tireless and loving care she received from Creighton and Marilyn Turner for the past 15 years, as well as love from family, friends, and devoted caregiver Doris Huntley, "Bo", as we affectionately called her, was able to live in peace, know that she was loved and in-turn, loved all of us. We thank God for her life and the legacy which she left.
