Allen Wade Garrett

Allen Wade Garrett, 61, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on December 15, 2025. He was born on April 4, 1964 in Montgomery, Alabama to Rodger and Sigrid Garrett. He married Theresa McCoy Garrett on May 30, 1992 in Montgomery, Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Theresa McCoy Garrett of Mount Vernon, Illinois; daughter, Jesi AnnMarie Thomas and husband John Bradley Thomas Jr. of Hahira, Georgia; two grandchildren, Garrett AnnMarie Thomas and John Bradley Thomas III; one sister, Tina Ann Birch and husband Phillip Birch; and nephew, Justin Hunter Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodger Garrett. Allen graduated from Auburn University of Montgomery. He worked up to the position of Vice President of Operations at Max Credit Union and worked for the company for over 30 years. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, golfing, coaching, and traveling to Walt Disney World with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday, December 22, 2025 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home in Montgomery, Alabama. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Blount officiating. Interment will take place in Alabama Heritage Cemetery immediately following the service.
