

Shannon Brent McGhee….better known as “Binky”, was a Montgomery native, Lee High School graduate, grew up in Highland Avenue Baptist Church, and was a tribal member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
He was known for his laugh, his piercing green eyes, mischievous grin, and his infectious personality. He was also known to love his free time, Colorado sunrises, traveling with his late fur baby, Thor, but mostly his profound love for his daughter, Kayla.
Preceded in death - maternal grandfather William (Bill) J. Griffith (Birmingham), uncle Daniel Griffith (Birmingham), paternal grandfather, Obie Lee McGhee (Atmore), paternal grandmother Zollie Mae McGhee (Atmore), paternal aunt Geraldine McGhee (Atmore), Thor (Fur Baby).
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla A. McGhee (Wetumpka), Gail Griffith McGhee (mother), Odell McGhee (father), Yvette McGhee (step-mother), Kevin B. McGhee (brother, Alexander Shalan), Jennifer W. McGhee (sister, Brandon Peavy), Carolyn N. Griffith (maternal grandmother), Kolby Peavy (nephew), Scotty White (brother), and Loki (fur baby).
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation on March 1st at 1:00 pm at Redland Baptist Church, Wetumpka, with a celebration of life service to follow beginning at 3:00 pm.
