Bobbie was born in Butte, Montana to the late Edythe and Robert Johnson. She is survived by her children Patricia Hoffman (John), Lynn Morris (Warren), and Stephen Dannelly (Brenda). Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Kathryn Dannelly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Rev. James Patrick Dannelly, Jr, and her sister, Marie Green, and brother-in-law, Dr. William M. Dannelly.
Over her lifetime Bobbie enjoyed her role as an educator. She was an elementary reading specialist in Troy, Auburn, and Montgomery School systems. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and abroad with her family and late husband.
There will be a grave-side service at Alabama Heritage Cemetery in Montgomery on the afternoon of Saturday, May 20. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Dannelly Family Christian Service Endowed Scholarship at Huntingdon College, 1500 East Fairview Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36106.
