Elvia was a devoted wife, mother of 11 children, sister, friend, and God-fearing Christian, Jehovah Witness. She loved giving witness about her loving God, Jehovah. Elvia also loved planting beautiful flowers, greenery, and tending to her vegetable garden, antique shopping, finding the perfect hat to match her outfit for the day, cooking for her family and most of all, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her life revolved around her faith and raising her family alongside her loving husband of 35 years, Louis Ward.
Mrs. Ward never failed to express her love for Jehovah and the appreciation she carried for life and all of it's lessons, through trials and tribulations, she stood proudly every morning that Jehovah blessed her with the gift of life. The Ward family emphasizes how much Elvia's presence will be missed, but in her passing found comfort in a sign she left for them; Elvia passed on 6.21.2024 at 6:21 AM, which 6.21 was also known to be her late firstborn son, Levy Ward's birthday. They have gone on to realize that the numbers 621 in the bible signifies that if you follow God's commandments, you will be blessed with abundance and prosperity. Her family truly knows that she is sleeping at peace currently and will be resurrected when Jehovah brings her from her tomb to reunite her with her deceased loved ones. As a mother, she ensured her children of how much they were cherished, even upon her last breath.
Elvia Flores Ward is survived by eight living children, several grand and great-grandchildren; her living children are, Marianela F. Smith, Susana I. Cobb, Olin Luis Ward, Michael Ward, Louis Webster Ward, Maruquel DelCarmen Hughes, Levy Ward, and Jeri Michelle Marks.
