

Franky Thomas Fidler, age 57 of Montgomery, AL passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017. He was born on November 1, 1959 in Wurzburg, Germany to Deweese Sewell Baldwin and Francis Fidler. Frank loved traveling and riding his motorcycle as well as spending time with his grandchildren. His 23 year military career included being stationed at various locations including, Texas, Illinois, Hawaii, Alabama, and Korea. During his career Frank received many honors including, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, National Defense Service Model, Humanitarian Service Medal, AF Overseas Short Tour Ribbon, AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon, and many more. He is survived by his wife, Chong Fidler; his 4 children, Chris Fidler, Stacie Wall (Patrick), Seana Ciulla (Joe), and Brandon Fidler (Amanda); his grandchildren, Matthew Fidler, Jacob and Caitlin Wall, Dominic and McKenzie Ciulla, and Haley and Logan Fidler; and siblings, Wanda Newell (Randy), Rhonda Vance, Sandy Patterson (Don), and Sonja Bailey (Joe); and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Deweese Baldwin (Larry) and Francis Fidler; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William T Sewell and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Yearicks. The family will receive friends at Alabama Heritage on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11:00 to 12:00 pm. Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Kevin Wallace officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pink Heals of Pontotoc (Marsha Carnes, 331 Davis St., Pontotoc, MS 38863) in his memory.
