McBEE, George Wade, loving husband and great father, passed away August 2, 2017 at home surrounded by family. He was born February 3, 1932 in Tazewell, TN and spent his younger years at the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Franklin, TN. He is survived by Ruth Elizabeth McBee, his wife of 61 years; sons Greg (Rusty) McBee and Steve (Annette) McBee; grandchildren Reyanna (Chris) Kirby, Justin (Amy) McBee, and Tanner (Jaimee) McBee; great grandchildren Joshua, Caleb, and Jacob Mozingo; Jackson McBee; Reese and John Davis McBee; several other close family and friends, including Russell Davis, Hanna Davis, Darryl and Jean Harper. He also leaves two brothers J.D. (Linda) McBee and Conley McBee; and one sister Rose (L.N.) Bishop all of Morristown, TN. Special thanks to SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2015. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
