Glenna Harman Pruitt, 83, passed peacefully at her home in Montgomery, Alabama, on November 6, 2025. Born on February 21, 1942, in Bradshaw, West Virginia, Glenna is now rejoicing in heaven with her beloved husband, Glen O. Pruitt; her cherished granddaughter, Courtney Pruitt; her parents, Nannie and Elmer Harman; her sister, Micki Shrader; and her brother, Walt Harman.
Glenna was a proud graduate of Concord College and began her career as an elementary school teacher in West Virginia. After moving to Montgomery, she found her calling in real estate, serving the community for over 20 years. She loved her work —not just for the homes she helped people find, but for the relationships she built. To Glenna, her clients and colleagues became family.
The light and warmth Glenna exuded was contagious. Her radiant smile, generous heart, and unwavering faith made her a living testimony of God's love. Whether she was teaching, guiding families through homeownership, leading Bible study, or simply spending time with loved ones, Glenna reflected the grace and kindness of Christ in all she did.
She poured that same faith into founding RG3 - Realtors Giving God the Glory - a realtor Bible study group. What began in her living room quickly grew beyond its walls. The women of RG3 were her prayer warriors, her closest friends, and her sisters in Christ.
Glenna's love for her family was her heartbeat. She found immeasurable joy in being with her grandchildren, always reminding them how proud she was and how deeply she loved them. Her favorite words to them were: "Remember who you are and whose you are."
She is survived by her daughter, Keri Lee (Bubba); her son, Glen Pruitt (Ashley); and her special niece, Angie Parker (Danny). She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Chase Lee, Pruitt Lee, Will Pruitt, Hannah Parker, Riley Parker, Elizabeth Fralish (Sully), Alex Fike, and Austin Fike (Gwin).
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Dani Bennett and Lisa Pecks for their devoted care and friendship over the past year and Mary Smoke for being the angel we needed this past week. The family would also like to especially thank Baptist Hospice and nurse Holly for the compassion and kindness shown to Glenna and our family during this season.
A visitation will be held on November 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Frazer Church, located at 6000 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, AL 36117 with the funeral service following at 11:00 am at the same venue. The committal service will take place immediately after at Alabama Heritage Cemetery, located at 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117.
Pallbearers for Glenna’s services will be Will Pruitt, Chase Lee, Pruitt Lee, Riley Parker, Jeff Reynolds, Sullivan Fralish, Larry Chapman and Rick Deloney.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Frazer's Prayer Tower renovation, in honor of Glenna's legacy of faith, love, and service to her community.
