SMITH, Herbert, 78, of Montgomery, AL, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 23, 2015. He served as deacon at Oak Grove Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by three sisters Addie M. Thomas, Dorothy Mickel and Pearline Smith; a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Hooks officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service.
