An informal celebration of Life will be held on, October 3, 2021 visitation starting at 2:00pm, sharing of memories from 3:00pm-3:30pm to be followed by Military Honors at 3:30pm at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117.

He is survived by two daughters, Priscilla Naron Teel (Marty) and Marion Arlene Naron; granddaughters Kendall Mallory Teel and Karlee Madison Teel; one sister, Dorothy Ann Naron Pledger (George) of Caddo Gap, Ark.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Herman joined the U. S. Air Force right out of High School and was deployed to Germany where he met his wife Karin. He retired in Montgomery, Alabama in 1975 after 21 years of service which included a tour in Vietnam. Following his military retirement, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration while working full-time.
In his younger years Herman enjoyed playing sports and participating in the Future Farmers of America Club. Throughout his life he most enjoyed traveling, reading, golfing, drinking German beer and hiking in his beloved mountains in Germany. The role that he most enjoyed was that of Grandfather to his beloved granddaughters. Herman was always fiercely independent and even remained so in later years after moving to assisted living where he still valued his privacy, self-reliance and quiet time. And, as many knew, he always loved to share his sarcastic wit.
Herman was dearly loved and will be missed by his family and his friends. We would like to send special thanks to his wonderful caregivers and the staff at Majestic Davita Dialysis for the loving care they have provided over the past 5 years.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Teel, Craig Moore, Roger Horton and Robert (Buster) Cole.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.AlabamaHeritageFH.com for the Naron family.
