James Lamar Lightner

Mr. James Lamar Lightner JR, also known as "Jim", was an Alabama state resident for the entirety of his life. James was also an Air Force veteran, he served his country from 1962-1968.

Mr. Lightner loved the lake, grilling, football, Nascar, and being social with those around him. James deeply adored and cherished Christ, his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all of his near and dear family and friends.

James is survived by his loving wife, Janiece N. Williams Lightner; children, James Lamar Lightner III (Trey Leigh Lightner), Kristi Nelson (Bruce Nelson), Amy Mitchell, Deborah Ouellette; grandchildren, Lakin Del Rivero (Asa), Joshua Mears, Hayden Mears, Kayleigh Lightner, Kara Lightner, Heather Wood, Cheyenne Ouellette, Chandler Ouellette; great-grandchildren, Asher Del Rivero, Kaiya Del Rivero; and In-Laws, Earl and Trudy Nelson of Prattville, AL, Mildred and Cecil Smith of Hefflin, AL, and Lanatha & Jim(passed) Lehmann of Foley, AL.

A memorial service for Mr. James Lamar Lightner will be held on September 17th, from 3PM-5PM at the Iron Horse Ranch, 3214 Weoka Road, Wallsboro, AL, 36092
