Lashawn Colvin made an entrance into this world on January 17, 1985 in Fort Hood Texas. Lashawn’s parents, the late Timothy and Denita Colvin traveled the world abroad from the states to Europe with their children in tow, including Lashawn. With Jeff Davis as a high school alma mater, Lashawn continued a life of learning at various universities and schools. It was here this beautiful spirit perfected a talent for writing and editing.
Lashawn is a fabulous comic book writer for Scout Comics, graphic artist, and editor over RedBand line-up at Short Fuse Media Group, LLC. Lashawn is the creator of a popular and upcoming comic “Beautiful Soldiers,” which is now signed to a publishing deal with Scout Comics & Entertainment!
Leaving to cherish loving memories are sisters Tanja (Jasper) Salary of Charlotte NC, Tiffani (Jekingsley) Sainthilaire of Fort Mitchell AL, grandfather and grandmother: James and Melody Brown, devoted uncles James (Theresa) Brown and Sean Brown of Louisville Ky; Johnny Earl (Lottie) Colvin of Huntsville Al; devoted aunts Gwendolyn Hill and Linda Colvin of Montgomery AL; nieces Aliyah Young-Williams and Jillian Salary; nephews, Jasper Salary lll, Josiah Cooper; cousins Johnny Earl Colvin, Jr., Shenika Colvin, and Rachel Hill; a beautiful God Mother Tonya Benton; a host of family members, neighbors, and friends; and a dog-daughter Zena Colvin.
A Fabulous Committal Celebration of Life Inurnment for Lashawn will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Cemetery via Private Estates, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117.
