Loren James Goude Jr.

Loren James Goude, Jr., 63 of Lynn Haven, FL and formerly of Cecil, AL, went to be with our Lord Jesus on December 17, 2020 at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center with his wife by his side. Loren was born June 13, 1957 in Montgomery, AL to Loren and Amyrillis (Walker) Goude, Sr. Loren was a true outdoorsman who loved deer hunting, riding his Harley, spending time in his boat or on the beach, and playing guitar. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and University of Alabama football fan, but most of all, Loren loved his family. He was a devoted husband, Daddy, and Pawpaw. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Leah Goude and his parents, Loren and Amyrillis Goude. Loren was united in marriage on June 16, 1978 to his wife, Starr who resides in Lynn Haven, FL. He is also survived by his daughters, Brandy Goude of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Jaimee (Tanner) McBee of Pike Road, AL; his son, Loren James (Laura) Goude, III of Wetumpka, AL; his grandchildren, Dylan Motley, Reese McBee, John Davis McBee, and Walker Goude; his brothers, Guy (Janet) Holmes of Laurel, MS and Ty (Dolly) Caudill of Henderson, NV, his sister, Sally (Rusty) Mitchem of Huntsville, AL; a loving step-mother, Amy Goude of Satellite Beach, FL; and his best friend in the world, Larry (Jessica) Gothard of Jonesborough, TN. A Celebration of Life service will be held December 30, 2020 at 11:00am at Church of the Highlands in Montgomery, AL. Private inurnment will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Church of the Highlands at 4255 Taylor Road, Montgomery, AL 36116 or the Buckmasters American Deer Foundation at 10350 Highway 80 East, Montgomery AL 36117.
