Marianne Dauphin, 77, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully August 11, 2010. Mrs. Dauphin was born in Clio, Alabama to Mozelle and George Corley Wallace on June 24, 1933, but lived most of her life in Montgomery. Mrs. Dauphin was preceded in death by three brothers, Governor George C. Wallace, Sr., Gerald Wallace, and Judge Jack Wallace. Mrs. Dauphin is survived by her children, Catherine Settle (Dan), Jerry Dauphin (Margaret) and Keith Dauphin (Krista); six grandchildren, Jennifer Settle, Brian Settle, Drew Dauphin, Matthew Dauphin, Bodhi Dauphin and Devan Dauphin. Visitation will be held Friday, August 13, 2010, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 11:00 am, at Alabama Heritage Chapel with Rock Chambless, Paul Turner and Ed Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Dauphin, Keith Dauphin, Dan Settle, Brian Settle, Bodhi Dauphin, Devan Dauphin, Drew Dauphin and Matthew Dauphin.
