Mary A Huggins

Mary Charles Autrey Huggins, 85 , of Montgomery Al passed away peacefully at John Knox Manor Nursing Home January 2, 2011. Graveside services will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, Montgomery Al, at 11 am January 4th, 2011. There will be a brief reception in the Alabama Heritage parlor from 10:15 until 10:45 before the burial. Following the graveside, there will be a short memorial service at noon in the Frazer United Methodist Church Chapel, Dr. Roy Sublette officiating.

Mrs. Huggins, formerly of McKenzie Alabama, relocated to Montgomery later in life. She was a public educator in the elementary school systems of McKenzie and Montgomery Al. She was also a faithful member of Frazer United Methodist . Mrs Huggins was preceded in death by her father, Sherrod Kimbrough Autrey, her mother, Inez Ashcraft Williams Autrey, a sister, Sherrod Inez Autrey, a husband, Wilmer Wilson Huggins and a son, Sherrod Curtis Huggins. She is survived by a Brother in law, Mr. Andrew ( Virgie) Huggins( Fairhope, Al) and nephew David Huggins( Spanish Fort Al), and nieces Andrea Carver( Mississippi) and Debbie Schade ( California), a sister in law Ms. Frances Booker and two nephews Jeff Booker and Vance Booker of Atlanta GA, and nephews Larry Huggins ( Vernon, Al) and Dewayne Huggins ( Red Level, Al), cousins Bill Harper (Eclectic, Al) and Davis Baggett(Montgomery, Al)and several grand nieces and nephew and special friends .Today, Aunt Charlie’s body and mind have been restored and she is home in eternity with her family and we celebrate with her.
