Miriam Mims Carr, a resident of Montgomery, AL went home to Heaven on December 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, with graveside service immediately after visitation. Dr. John Ed Mathison will be officiating. She is preceded in death by Sidney Eugene Mims, Sr.; father, Harold Todd Sr.; mother, Jerome Guy Todd; sister, Dot Shores; and brother, Harold (Son) Todd. Survivors include her loving husband, Chester Carr; daughter, Sherri Hearn; son’s Gene and Eugene Mims; and step-son, Sid Mims. She leaves behind many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren (all of whom she cherished); extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Todd Shores; Guy Shores; David Thomas; James Wayne Guy; Howard Smith; and Scott Etter. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Guy.
