Randall Dwayne Rogers was born in Waynesville, North Carolina on the 10th of May 1963 to Keith and Pat Rogers. Randy’s vibrant personality added much life to the people he was around. He never met a stranger, a trail of friends were left everywhere he went due to his welcoming demeanor.
He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, “Pop”, son, brother, and friend. Words cannot truly do justice to the love that Randy had for the Lord and his family.
He loved traveling back home to North Carolina to his cabin with his family, on Saturdays you could find him cheering on the University of Alabama Crimson Tide or on a golf course enjoying time with family and friends. The Lord and his family meant the world to him. He enjoyed nothing more than watching Randi, his daughter play tennis and softball and Macie, his granddaughter play softball.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Robin Rogers; two daughters, Brittany Davis (Jeff Davis) and Randi Rogers; granddaughter, Macie Davis; mother, Pat Rogers; mother-in-law, Karla Hunt; siblings; Cathy Messer, Pam Rogers, Cindy Hendershot (Tim); nephews, Tanner Messer, Alex Hendershot, Josh Hunt; niece, Porter Hendershot; sister-in-law Karen Hyatt (Darrell); brother-in-law Brian Hunt (Denise); along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom all loved him dearly.
He is proceeded in death by his father, V. Keith Rogers; and grandparents, Vaughn and Ruby Rogers, and Wilma Henry.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation beginning at noon on Tuesday, December 14th 2021 with a service to follow beginning at one p.m. on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021. All services will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery.
