Robert Thomas Moore, III, 61, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Bearden, Sr., paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Moore, Sr., all of Chattanooga, TN., and his Golden Retriever, Gabbie Girl.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Moore; one son, Tanner Moore; parents Robert and Ella Mae Moore; sister, Melodie Ellis; sisters-in law, Sandra (Mike) Duvall, Jane (Donnie) Shepard, Sherry (Johnny) Perdue; brother-in-law, Randy (Lisa) Willis; nephews, Matt (Stacey) Ellis, Derek Duvall, Wesley (Michelle) Willis, Cody Willis, Tyler (Heather) Perdue, Korey Perdue; nieces, Jill (Mark) Baker, Elizabeth Duvall, Christi (Kenny) Wilhoit; several great nieces and great nephews.
He graduated from Central Alabama Academy and attended Auburn University Montgomery. Robert was a man of strong Christian faith. His interests included reading his Bible, music, playing golf, bodybuilding, helping others, and most of all, being a good friend. Years ago, he played semi-pro football for the Montgomery Chargers.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held by his family. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
